In accordance with Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine "On Technical Regulations and Conformity Assessment" Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by Resolution No. 65 of January 20, 2021 approved Technical regulations for cosmetic products. The effect of the document is extended to business entities that put cosmetic products into circulation and put them on the market.

The technical regulation does not apply to medicinal products, medical devices and biocidal products.

This Technical Regulation defines the requirements for the safety of cosmetic products, the procedure for evaluating compliance with such requirements, and establishes the rules for marking with a lot of cosmetic products.

The technical regulation establishes that the production of cosmetic products is carried out by applying national standards harmonized with European standards.
